El Edificio

The Odeon space building is located in the historic center of Bogota. Its origin goes back to the years 40 with the construction of Cinema Odeon, one of the first cinemas of the city. Thirty years later it became the home of one of the most important theatres in the country: the TPB (Teatro Popular de Bogotá), led by Jorge Ali Triana. An institution that is still recorded in the memory of several generations of Bogota. Since 2011, when the building recovered after more than a decade of abandonment, the Odeon space has continued with the mission of being a propitious place for the development of innovative and avant-garde cultural projects.
